Very cold water, nice picnic area. And museum.
Beautiful place for a wedding whether it's in the park or at the small Stone Church. Dayze Gone Bye Carriage Rides of Allensville PA we're on standby to transport the bride and groom to the Pavilion after the wedding. The park ranger was wonderful and assisting.
What a great little place, swimming in a lake with a sand beach, lots of grills and picnic tables, nicely marked nature trails and easy hikes. some awesome scenery. A Historic village to explore. A really great place!!!!!
Great place for outdoor adventures for all ages. Hiking, swimming, canoeing and other activities in a beautiful mountainous setting. Also is a historical site telling/showing the Greenwood Furnace facilities.
This is a really nice place to come and while away an afternoon. There are hiking trails that range from an easy 1/4 mile or so loop around the lake to, well, as long as you want to walk really. From here you can string together hikes staying almost entirely on trails (rather than dirt roads) that are pretty much as long as you want to go. If you're really hardcore you can through-hike the 68 miles to Cowans Gap State Park. For a more leisurely time you can sit on the beach and soak up some sunbeams, or just take a gentle amble around the park and enjoy the wildlife.
